Bean Bake
Ingredients
• 1 Cup chopped onion | • 1 Can15 oz, black beans, drained |
• 12 slices bacon, chopped into 1 inch pieces | • 1 Cuppacked brown sugar |
• 1 Can 16 oz, pork and beans with tomato sauce | • 1 Cupcatsup |
• 1 Can 16 oz, lima beans, drained | • ½ Cupvinegar |
• 1 Can 16 oz, garbanzo beans, drained | • ½ Cupwater (omit if cooking in oven) |
• 1 Can 15 oz, red kidney beans, drained |
Instructions
In skillet cook bacon until crisp, add onion and cook until tender but not browned, drain.Combine all ingredients in a 3-quart casserole.
Cook uncovered on BGE for 1.25 hours at 400.
Or, cover and cook in oven for 1 hour at 375, uncover and bake 15 more minutes (omit .5 cup of water if cooking in oven).
