Less Smoke

Andy suggestions if I were doing a delicate fish for instance and wanted less of a smoke flavor. Thanks.

Make sure your lump is burning clean. Give it some time to really get going (500 or so) and then adjust your temp. Also, obviously, don't add any wood chips or chunks.

For less smoke, try lighting the egg well in advance (1.5 hours minimum) of placing your food on the grill. Hope this helps.[p]Banker John
