Roast in the Egg?????

Usually do our roast in the oven. Potatoes, carrots and onions all around the roast in a glass container at 325 for a couple of hours. Thought about doing this on the egg tonight. Any suggestions? Indirct? Glass dish...I am lost and hungry on this one, but I am confident that my fellow-eggors will have the right answer.[p]Uncle Phil

i do roasts in the egg all the time (usually briskets for a pot roast method, but i've done ox tails and osso bucco as well). ..what kind of roast is it? . .then i can give you some tips. ..but basically, do it exactly as you would in your oven, only do it in the egg on your grid set over inverted plate setter at the same temps as in your oven. .whatever pot/dish you use in the oven will work fine in the egg as well. . .
