I bought about 12lbs of short ribs at Sams. Should I treat them like pork ribs? I usually do my pork ribs at around 300 to 325 for 4 to 5 hours. Can someone give me a little advice on these ribs?

BajaTom,
If these are the meaty and fatty ribs, I suggest doing them like pork spare ribs: lo-n-slo with your favorite rub. They will take about 5 hours at 235 dome. Enjoy!

Marvin, they are meaty and fatty. So lo&slo is the method. Thanks for the advice.

BajaTom,
There is usually enough meat in those to get a temp probe into it. If so, cook them to 195; just like pulled beef. Have fun!

tach18k,
Did you do them indirect? They look great. I'm going to do mine on Wednesday.
