While I'm waiting.................

Someone suggested that while I am waiting for baby Humpty to be delivered I should stock up on some accessories. Sooo, I got a rack of pork ribs, a rack of beef ribs, a 6 lb. pork shoulder roast, 4 turkey drumsticks, and some large Italian sausages. That should do to break him in, I think.

    Gord,
I like your style![p]Now you have a VERY important decision to make -- what to cook first and how to actually cook it.[p]B~F[p]

  • Yes you're right, I do have to think about what to cook first. Hmmmmm....

Gord,[p]Sounds like you are prepping for a mini Eggfest. Good for you. Have patience as the wait is well worth it for the rest of your life.[p]BTW, Spacing the purchases over the required wait time may make the wait easier :).[p]Spin

Gord, I would start with the sausages, work thru the drumsticks, then the pork ribs, the pork shoulder roast, and then the beef ribs..in order of difficulty. None is really difficult. Your gonna have fun..BTW..a pork shoulder roast isn't what I call a "Boston Butt", but some meat cutters put funny names on em..:-)

Char-Woody,[p]CW, you are the Vince Lombardi of BBQ! Line up in an I formation. The sausages will go in motion. Snap the ball and pitch it to the drumsticks who will then lateral to the pork ribs. The ribs will do a classic Statue of Liberty fake pass to the pork shoulder roast who will pass to the beef ribs running a post pattern into the end zone for 6![p]As a tasty point after touchdown, who knows...maybe some of NB's Sliced Taters, some easy baked taters with olive oil and Montreal Steak seasoning, or maybe even some bananas! Or you can go for the two point conversion with a pizza![p]I love BGE strategy![p]Can't wait for football season (can you tell?),
