I've been wanting to try this for a long time now and finally got around to it yesterday - Pot Roast on the Egg.[p]I got me about a 3 lb. round roast, a couple o' cans a beef stock, a packet of onion soup, some small red taters, baby carrots, pearl onions and some shrooms.[p]Put the roast, stock and water in my dutch oven and then onto the egg runnin bout 350. Cooked that baby up till the meat started getting tender then started droppin in those veggies.[p]I'll do a couple things different next time, but it was still darn good for my first ever attempt.[p]By the way left the lid off the DO for the first and last half hour. Deffinately gave a nice suttle enhanced flavor that I wouldn't have gotten in the stove.[p]Keep em Smokin,
Jethro
