Brined Smoked Chicken and Grilled Corn

Brined for 3 hrs. Rubbed with Grill Mates Montreal Chicken on the camera left one and Plowboys Yardbird on the right

Smoked with Cherry wood chips soaked in water @ 350*-375* for 1hr. 30-min. to a internal temp. 170*

Done time to grill the corn


Grilled the corn @ 400* turning every 5-min. for 15-min.


Served with Salad, Garlic Bread, and Smashed Potatoes. A wonderful tasty meal

Looks great! Thanks for posting - awesome pics.
Can you describe what the texture of the chicken was like? 1.5 hrs seems pretty short for a smoke, but with the temp of 350 - 375, it's kind of like smoke-roasting I guess? Did the skin get crispy? Looks a bit in the one pic.
Also, what did you put on the corn? Looks like some kind of butter-herb baste. -

What a beautiful meal, Ross. Wish I was there for that one.Happily egging on my original large BGE since 1996... now the owner of 5 eggs. Call me crazy, everyone else does!
