Multiple butt question

I'm doing 2 7 lb butts on the egg. I'm wondering about timing. How do I figure out when I need to put them on? It's 14 lbs of meat total, but they're 2 separate pieces.
Thanks in advance, and thanks to all the vets who fought for our country!

It's no different than baking five potatoes, they take the same amount of time as baking 1.
Seriously, as long as you don't have them jammed up together, treat them as separate roasts. Here is a typical spacing on two.
For 8 pounders, bone-in, I plan on 14 to 16 hours of pit time. I like long rests of at least 2 hours wrapped in foil and in a cooler surrounded by newspaper.

Thirdeye,
Thanks much for the quick reply, and the picture, the Pavlovian reflex really got going with that!
Next question, how long is too long to wrap in foil in a cooler? -
You mean from a food safety point of view? I held 2 butts two weeks ago in a cooler for 6 hours and they were 165° when I pulled them.Happy Trails~thirdeye~Barbecue is not rocket surgery
