I am almost embarrassed how good last night's "Easy Life" Chicken turned out!![p][p]I wish I could take all the credit, but thanks to Ken Stone's "Easy Life" rub, and the indirect set-up courtsey of "Grate Mates"...my little "Small" is the new Cooker of Choice round here for Birds!![p]My concern is that it's soooo easy and sooooo good...maybe it's against the law!![p]Rubbed and ready...."Grate Mates" set up....400 dome temp.
P4130107.jpg[p]Thirty minutes in....[p]P4130114.jpg[p]Resting....Pulled at 1hr. and 10 minutes.[p]P4130129.jpg[p]There's your "Beauty Shot"!![p]P4130132.jpg[p]I may have also commited a "Misdomeaner"...as my Wife and I shamelessly picked this poor bird right off the Spanek.....not a plate or unensil in site!![p]Go ahead....write me up Officer...I'd do it again!![p]Chubby[p]

I spent most of my money on good bourbon, and bad women...the rest, I just wasted!!

Car Wash Mike,[p]Hey Mike!![p]By the way...that was one of thoes "Smart Chickens" ...you speak so highly of!![p]That could've also had something to do with the quality of the end product!![p]All kidding aside...I didn't want't my wife to know how little I had to do!![p]I'm working on the premise that it's all about my "Vast Talent"!![p]Evans

fishlessman, You definitely need all six. I eat mine out of the shaker sometimes. Wicked Grin is awesome on pork rinds. The CrossRoads is great on ribs.

  • fishlessman, all of blue smokes concoctions are excellent. I have used them for the past 2-3 years. Gilded Splinters is one of the best all around rubs there are, anywhere.

Chubby, I can't write you up on this one because I'm guilty of doing the same thing! ;~D That's a good looking bird. [p]I want to know more about these grill mates, in case I decide I need a small ;~)

    Chubby,
Yes, it is "Criminal" to post photos like that knowing full well it is making our tongues slap our brains out. I suppose now I will have to come up with something to cook on my own Egg. Alas, it won't be as pretty or as tasty but I'll gladly take second place.[p]I have to say, you have learned well "Chubby Skywalker" and the Cosmos will feel your presence. Keep the photos and cooking instructions coming from the Bright Side. We can all benefit from your enthusiasm.[p]Spring "Marshal Dillon" Chicken

I am "just wondering", Chubby, why you let the wings "hang" instead of folding them back, as if the bird were a criminal. JCA

J Appledog,[p]I did not deem the Bird in question to be a "flight risk'!![p]Evans
