lump to wood chunk ratio

Peeps:

Egging with wood chunks for the first time this weekend for a long overnight smoke. What approximate ratio of lump charcoal to wood chunks do you use?

I'll add 3 to 5 fist sized chunks mixed throughout the lump for most long cooks, less if it's a strong wood like mesquite

I do the same. Light the fire as you normally would, then add 5 or 6 chunks. I prefer chunks to chips, they last longer.
