I just put down a contract on a little cottage next to my kid's school. Next comes a BIG GREEN EGG to properly adorn the back deck. The WEBER is dust. Yeeeehaaaaa. Good riddance to that awful thing.[p]Just had to share....see everyone in October in Atlanta!

yoyo_in_atlanta,[p]Don't throw it out too fast. I use mine as a garbage can......it still has some use.[p]bigarms
-
bigarms,[p]Good point![p]If I could figure out a way to get it to hold ice, it could be a cooler too....and hydrate the chef![p]
-
yoyo_in_atlanta,[p]Pop rivet pieces of metal (aluminum) over the inside of the vent openings. Use roof mastic to fill the gaps on the lower piece of metal.[p]Regards,
Jethro

yoyo_in_atlanta,
Congratulations! I hope it all goes well for you. I never got a chance to try your sweet potato pizza in Florida :-(.

yoyo_in_atlanta,
Grill up a BIG batch of shrimp on the Egg, fill the Weber with ice and shrimp - invite us all over for a party![p]Ken
-
yoyo_in_atlanta,
I think you should have an egg-warming party and invite your friends in to hang out.

yoyo_in_atlanta,
Did I hear Real Estate purchase? Banker John can help... (888) 435-2562.[p]Oh yes, what a better house warming gift than a BGE![p]Banker John

Congrats YoYo!
I'm surprised it took you this long after Ocala to break down & buy your first Egg![p]Say hi to that sister of yours![p]- Andy
-
Charles in SC,[p]Yes, I think there will be MANY egg-warming parties in Atlanta! Stay tuned!
-
egret,[p]Never fear! The sweet potato pizza might have to be a regular feature--like a tradition! After all, it was my "first cook"![p]yoyo
-
Banker John,[p]Better than an EGG? That's hard to believe!
-
Hi Andy! [p]You're right. Slow isn't usually my style![p]I knew a change of domicle was in the offing so I waited for the two events to coincide! I have been getting pretty sick of this Weber. And this house. And some other things. Nuff said.[p]I'll pass on your "hi" to my sister too.[p]EGG Count down has begun!
-
yoyo_in_atlanta,
To clarify - yes, a BGE would be the ultimate housewarming gift, IMO![p]Congrats![p]Banker John
-
Banker John,[p]All I got was voicemail today when I called about a loan on my new cottage. I think you were home cooking on one of those BGE's!!!! Truant![p]Come to think of it, I might need a loan on the BGE. I think I'll need lots of tools and toys to go with it. It just wouldn't do to have a plain naked egg now would it?
