    benny,
Perhaps there is someone from or near your hometown that can pick up an egg from an Eggfest for you. Have you thought about that?[p]Banker John

benny, next best way to get a friend to attend an eggfest. :-) Another alternative - if you live in Atlanta - is to go by the BGE Headquarters store on Clairmont. Occasionally they have an EGGperienced for sale.

  • how much does one cost at the factory, is the festival deal a real deal?[p]what is a deal from a dealer?
  • benny,
People are tighter than a old banker with info on egg prices. I think it is so it is hard to shop between dealers.

  • benny, had a friend that bought a large at a pawn shop, which was the best buy I've seen other than an Eggfest. You always hear about the buys someone made.Along the lines of what others have suggested, may I ask what area you are located in. Someone here might know a local dealer and be of help. Sometimes a dealer may run a special but I have not seen much mark down anywhere. A packaged deal will vary from dealer to dealer so make sure of what you're getting.
I tell folks the EGG is along term investment and if you use it correct you will have years of service and tons of great food. The last gasser I purchased, about eight years ago, cost more than the last Egg, I had replaced the burner twice and now have it a place to rest. Nedless to say I'm sold on Eggs!!

    benny,
I bought my first egg (large) over the internet from fireside shop and all woked out with fast and friendly service. At the time they had the best deal. Then I decided I wanted a medium so I bought it from a local dealer and had another great and smooth transaction. It's good when you can do some buiseness with your local dealer to keep them going. I bought my third egg off of ebay and was also all good! So in my opinion is to just shop around and to find the best deal for you. Your buying a BGE so you can't go wrong. Jon
