Question on Indirect Cooking (inverted plate setter)

Can I use inverted plate setter for indirect cooking? Will plate setter crack after coming into contact with flame?

absolutely use the inverted plate setter. ..that is exactly what it was designed for. .. it can handle any heat you throw at it. . . i use mine in the inverted mode in about 60% of my cooks. . .

sujit chokshi,[p]Get the Plate Setter!! Very Cool. You will need it later, if you want to do some pizzas, along with a Pizza Stone.. [p]Hell, get the plate setter and the pizza stone... So much you can do with both.
