    there are some e-mails floating around with some notorious auto-correction that have taken place.

    i turned off auto correction, but i still can't stand the typing on the iPhone. i constantly put 'm' and 'n' characters in between words when typing fast, because the space bar is a tenth of an inch too small (for me).

    the auto correct on my blackberry was great. still, i no longer need the blackberry day to day

    the auto correct on my droid global is just as bad...though you can go back and force it to recognize the word going forward...
