Small BGE goes camping with the Webelos this weekend

Tomorrow I'm heading out into the wilderness with some Webelos and no one thought about cooking dinner for the first night (Cub scouts join us on Saturday). Well, I'll have to change that by packing the small BGE into the Egg Transporter and off we go.[p]Hotdogs, Hamburgers, & smoked Johnsonville Brats should keep the kids & dads happy and it beats cold cuts for lunch hands down. One thing I learned a long time ago when I was a boy scout is that if you want to eat something good, ya gotta cook it yourself.[p]A nice side-effect of this should be at least 3 more families will sign up for the Texas Eggfest after a weekend of egg food.[p]I'll post pics when we return.[p]Cheers,[p]GrillMeister

Mine looks similar but has a slot on one side so the egg can slide in. I put the slot side facing one of the walls of my van. The egg transporter should be patented! It works very well and flips over to make a nice egronomic stand for your egg.

Smoked Signals,[p]I like the slot idea. I may cut one out on mine and put a hinge on one side with a latch on the other. It certainly will make it easier getting the Large in and out of it.[p]Thanks![p]Ed
