Eggin two years ,First Steak!!!!

We do alot of low & slow,chicken,ribs, pizza, brisket, etc. Tonight we had chuck eye steaks using a reciepe out of Southern Living. There was not a bite left. Followede the plans given here on burping and everthing went great. A whole new ballgame has opened up.

    Poppasam,[p]WOW. You ever hear of the OhNo bird ? Tiny little legs..maybe half an inch long....and nuts the size of grapefruits..when it comes in for a landing all you hear is "Oh No...oh..no..oh no..ohnoohnoohnoohnoohnoohno.."[p]Why does that matter ?[p]I figure you must be related..cause it's just gotta take a pretty hefty pair of nuts to log on here and admit that you've had your egg for 2 years and just now cooked your first steak on it. I commend you![p]Happy landings my friend.

    Congrats. Chuck eyes are a great little steak. I'm able to find them around here for 2.99 /lb sometimes. Usually pay no more than 3.99 per.

  • StumpBaby,Yes I should say I have been slow doing a steak for a man with an EGG for two years and five EGGS for a year. We enjoyed what we were cooking with the Egg and doing competition with the other four that we left steaks for nights out. Fer sure that has changed. My oldest daughter, whose husband got me into EGGIN, found it hard to believe we were just doing steak.
    Now it will be hard to order a steak out and think about what I could have at home. I guess I'll order something else.
