These pups just went on Mr Humpty - tasty dusting of Raging River gives the color. I'll have a couple or so hot off the grill, but these are really to replenish my stock so I can enjoy everyday. Works for me!

RRP,[p]Are you able to freeze these or just refridgerate for the week? I actually made my first batch of ABT's Saturday night, not only did I not clean them out just so...(the first one I ate gave me the hiccups), my pinky finger burned for about a good 24 hours from the "clean out" stage. Actually was a very entertaining dish...
  • RRP,[p]I tried ABTs for the first time yesterday at the extended family Easter gathering. I used leftover pulled pork in the filling. All 36 went within 6-7 minutes. My father-in-law even called last night to suggest I bring them again...very soon.[p]Your note implies that they are good after being reheated. How do you store them and how do you reheat them? My FIL is in his late 70s and rarely does much other than pick at his food. Seeing him down 3, had the whole family talking. Thought I might fix him a plateful if they reheat well.

2bossy!, I have never frozen the cooked ones, but merely let them cool down and then place in a Tupperware container and store in the refrig. I merely place one or two in a microwave on high for 14 seconds. Works for me![p]Now you say you didn't remove the seeds? WOW bet I know what you did a few times today. LOL BTW pinkies are the only body parts that H U R T after handling those peppers!

bama_hosta_man, see my post to 2Bossy. The only thing I'll add is I've had them last in the refrig for 14 days so I know they are safe that long. As long as they don't get contaminated I see no problem - afterall they are all cooked. BTW try a light dusting of Dizzy Pig Raging River.

Chores complete - a keen observer will note 2 ABTs disappeared from first to last photo - chef privilege! Note the tan line on these beauties thanks to the hickory smoke.
