ya i know, its not uncommon for a post to get deleted that don't make it into the archives and typically i don't even check. but on occasion i do look and i've found some pretty interesting recipes and ideas. i guess that if your just offering ideas and not trying to sell em then they should just be ideas that future eggers should have a chance to check them out. but i'm getting a little ticked that some of my posts that are BGE related or are cooking related never make it to the archives for someone to look at and maybe come up with new ideas from my posts.[p]I know, everyone has a post that gets deleted for some unknown reason, and the chance that someone may actually go into the archives to search out that little tidbit is rare, i guess it is just my time to rant about it.[p]Scott

  • eggor,[p]I wasn't voted homecoming king...now that ticked me off. [p]Bryan. ;-) [p]
  • eggor,[p]LOL, you know I had to give you a hard time. [p]I didn't know that they deleted post for the archives. You've handed down some great info to us newbies, I would hate to see all that info get trashed. [p]Hang in there.[p]Bryan

eggor,[p]You shouldn't take it personally. It really comes down to a matter of storage space. Keeping every post out there takes a lot of server space so they do make decisions about which ones remain, but 99% of the time it's not because of anything you did or didn't do.[p]All of us have had posts not make it into the archives. Consider yourself part of the family!!![p]Tonia

    Bryan,

My date was the Prom queen. That made me happy.[p]Clausen

  • QBabe,
I have to nominate Tonia for Eggtoberfest 2005 Homecoming Queen. After all the hard work she did preparing for the Florida Eggfest, she deserves it![p]No, I don't expect this post will make it to the archives. Heck, I've submitted award winning recipes (well, one anyway) that haven't even made it to the recipe files. Go figger... Don't be upset that your posts get deleted. It's fairly universal and not directed at anyone in particular.

eggor,[p]A few months ago I responded to someone looking for a duck recipe with info regarding an intersesting one that I had found from an episode of Simply Ming, complete with a link and how I had modified a similar recipe to the Egg. I went back a couple of weeks later, searched the archives and found the link to the post, but the post no longer existed. I tried the search 2 more times, then the link disappeared too.[p]Document new recipes and methods to a folder on your desktop, then copy and paste here to share.[p]Cheers,
    C~Q

eggor, you know we do have a "submitted recipes" section and I manage that to make sure nothing (except junk) gets deleted.
