Pepper Monkey BBQ
Posts: 652
Ok ... being the kind of person I am ... I admit ... I'm intrigued. Butcher had a sale on bull lips this week. Didn't get any because i have no idea what the hell I'd do with them ............. but if I could make 'em tasty ... what a conversation piece! Any thoughts on this??

Aren't bull lips almost exclusively used as bait? I know they use them for catching crabs in MD...also use chicken necks. Never heard of anyone eating them, but why the hell not!?! Let us know how they turn out, haha.

You are probably right ... may be sold as bait ... I am in MD. Hadn't heard of that, always used chicken necks for crabbing. But why the butcher??? It was actually a coupon emailed out. Hmmm ... I bet we could make 'em edible!
