Eggers,
There's nothing really like this group of people that love to cook ridiculously incredible food. People came from all over the state, and I think "Charles in SC" and "Molly and Eli Shark" get the awards for farthest traveled. Nice to meet you guys.
These folks came to cook. We really could of fed another 50-100 people, at least. The first real egged food was Ken & Diane Stone's breakfast casserole's that came off the grill at about 10:30. Can you say stampede? I'm proud to say that I waited in line only to be the first one to get Nothing! The last slice went to the lucky person right in front of me. But, this was my first chance to meet Ken, who cooked his egg off ALL day. Here's the casseroles dissapating:

DSCN0690.JPG?dc=4675514840887400630[p]It was good to see my man Lenscamp and his wife. I mean REALLY good. He started with grits and a tomato sauce. I just wanted the grits, because they looked so awesome, and he and the Mrs. insisted we try the sauce. Oh my God. They also cooked a white chili that we need the recipe for. The big guy finished with a double smoked ham that was injected with amaretto, triple sec, etc, etc. as you can see, the crowd had cleared out but the die hards were still eating. Wardster grabbed me by the collar and said "you gotta try this ham". I loosened my belt and stepped up to the plate. Get it? Plate? How can you NOT love Lenscamp?:[p]DSCN0701.JPG?dc=4675514841291000298[p]Here's Charles in SC in the green jacket:

They cooked some great stuff, but I have to say, the pulled pork was the right stuff at the right time. Oh my God. Crunchy, smokey, juicy. Nice job![p]DSCN0685.JPG?dc=4675514847401402548[p]Here's BBQBluesStringer on the right, who whipped up some ridiculous meat loaf. Our friends on the left, I forget thier name, were loving the event. The Mrs. liked the smell of my cigar more than her hubby's and vowed to buy him one(PS it was a Padron 1964 anniversary):[p]DSCN0686.JPG?dc=4675514847428588100[p]
The MOST UNIQUE dish of the day goes to my Bro in Law "Cut", who made de-boned stuffed chicken wings. Wardster was STUNNED by the concept, and must have said 100 times, "The possibilities are endless". Here's a pic of Cut, Wardster, and new egg owner Pat, watching the wings, second by second. Also a pic of Cut "mock basting" some homeade sausage stuffed mushrooms. He was out of his mind!:[p]DSCN0683.JPG?dc=4675514847339729999[p]DSCN0692.JPG?dc=4675514840945075678[p]Finally, here's my arsenal lined up before the party. 2 meatloafs, 20 mojo chicken drummettes, and ribeyes seasoned many ways:[p]DSCN0673.JPG?dc=4675514840485471228[p]I can't believe I don't have a pic of Banker John. John was cooking pizzas like Dominos on Super Bowl Sunday, only much, much better. He had pizzas coming off his egg all day and they were awesome. Great job John![p]So nice to spend the weekend with all of you. [p]Scott[p][p][p][p][p][p][p][p][p][p][p][p][p]
