Just got a call from QBabe reporting on an extremely successful Florida EggFest...Congratulations to all! However, she did happen to mention that the prize contribution that I offered this year had been claimed.....by none other than.....drum roll....QBabe!!! [p]I cannot think of a more wonderful person to win anything. Still, you know, I think she was just protecting my feelings....last year I gave a prize, and the winners never even claimed it. Maybe she was just afraid history would repeat itself.[p]I'm just kidding...it was on the up and up, and. It sounds like everyone had a great time. It was obviously well planned, and I know how much planning these things take. She and Larry deserve a lot of credit. [p]Now, thanks to Grillmeister, everyone can do it again in May at the Texas EggFest in Austin.[p]Mike

Lawn Ranger,[p]Hey, Hey, Hey! You're going to get me in all kinds of trouble saying something like that (smiley face)...[p]Just so folks know, EVERY cook had a ticket for the prize drawing. Since I cooked, I too had one. We had the kids who attended the Fest draw the tickets. I NEVER even touched them, except to put them all back into the bucket when we were ready to draw for the final prize, the Mini egg. Even if you won one of the smaller prizes, every ticket was put back into the pot so that ALL of the cooks were eligible to win the top prize. [p]And, I'm thrilled to have won the prize you donated! You make such nice tools and they are a joy to work with. I can't wait to add to my collection! [p]Tonia

They were just too cute and there's no way anyone would consider them capable of anything nefarious (sp?)![p]Maybe one day we'll manage to get you there in person. <p />Mike, Qbabe was doing an end zone dance when she won your donation. Here's a pic of her doing the drawings. Like last year, Tonia let the young ones get in on the game, which is cool.[p]Also in this picture is the Wardster, lifting a set of Mickey T's temp rings while everyone is distracted.
