Car Wash Mike,[p]Did a pork loin tonight, used plate setter, V rack and drip pan, lightly seasoned the loin, cooked at about 350 for 1.5 hours. It turned out great.[p]Family and I are new to the BGE (less then two weeks old we are), so taken it careful (safe). I did beer butt chicken last Sunday, two chunks of smokey wood, and they thought it was too smokey. Also used a dry rub. Again, things to work on and find what works/suits us best.[p]Sunday will be three full racks of baby backs, each to be seasoned differently, to see what works best. Or more to the point, who likes what. Will be cooked direct, other then that not sure, as I need to surf the site to get more specific ideas of temp. etc..[p]I am also waiting for my order of 8 different Dizzy Pig spices to arrive.[p]Saturday will be a lets see, hmmm, maybe a pizza or something. That would give me an excuse to get into the shop and make a peel ! and buy a pizza stone!![p]Can't wait ![p]Egg eh
