I just got a new satinless vent for my medium egg. I have some 3M Fire Block Sealant FB 136. Will this work to seal the vent? If not any suggestions.Thanks.....

Jopa,
Your stuff sounds like military rocket star wars rated. High temp silicone, clear, works also.

Jopa,
That 3M Fireblock is messy stuff and takes a long time to cure, come to think of it, I'm not sure that you even need to seal the vent, nope, I just went out and looked at mine, there's no silicone or anything between the vent and the Egg. Just four bolts holding it tight.[p]Cheers,
