Help with smoking veggies/shrimp

Hey guys, thought I would try some kabobs without the skewers. Will use a basket to cook some assorted veggie pieces and whole shrimp. Need some input on time and temps from some of you kabob experts! Also, do I put it all together and start at the same time or cook the shrimp a little before I add the veggies?[p]Any advice would be appreciated. I have to have some medical tests run tomorrow morning at 7:30 and they told me to eat a light meal tonight. This is about as light as I go![p]Thanks,

    Hugh Jass, the shrimp will cook a lot faster than the shrimp. Typically when I do skewers I parboil the veggies first. However, lately I have been doing them in a basket and will throw in the veggies first and then throw the shrimp in when I think I have only about five minutes left. Normally that all it takes for the shrimp.
