How long a burn for the small
Good day Eggers,
Ordering my small tomorrow, that will complete my family. Whoopee,
How long can I expect (within reason) the new member to burn on a full stomach????[p]Bone in chicken breast tonight.
Thanks to all,
Bordello
Listening to Patsy Cline, "Sweet Dreams" CD. and a Killians's Irish Red to set the mood. Sun is out and I'm planting tomatoes.

Bordello,
Well, I can give you one data point. 3 pounds of lump charcoal will fill it up almost to the top of the fire ring and will burn at 400 degrees from 4.5 to 7 hours, depending on the type of charcoal. Obviously, low and slow will go a lot longer.

Bordello,
I did a lo&slo (2- 7# butts) with my small and had to add lump at about 15 hrs. I was cooking at about 230-250° as I recall. They turned out great![p]Kent
