Sesame Ahi Tuna Salad

Got a bunch of fresh lettuce today from my Dad's garden, so I had to come up with something good to go with it.
Jana (The Princess) recently found some seasonings at TJ Maxx (her fav store):

So I took a nice piece of Ahi Tuna and coated it with the Sesame seasoning:


Seared at 450* on a griddle with a small amount of Sesame Oil - maybe 45 sec. on each side.

Served on top of the fresh garden salad, topped with some Rice Noodles, a sprinkling of the Sesame seasoning and an Asian salad dressing The Princess had made previously. YUM !


If you get a chance to buy some of this Sesame seasoning, don't pass it by.
(Toasted white and black seeds, garlic, ginger, sea salt, red pepper and a little toasted sesame oil).

Not sure how much longer he will have lettuce - the weather is getting hot, so it may start bolting soon, then it will be grocery greens til fall....... :(
