Man-o-man, I just egged some ABTs that I had dusted with Dizzy Pig Raging River rub and then smoked those pups using a chunk of guava wood. What a fine tasting ABT that combo makes! No sense in posting a picture of course without the smell and taste - you'll just have to take my sworn statement to that! [p]BTW the guava smoke smell is different - a little sweet, firm but not robust either. Smells good though which is great news because I kept waving the smoke into my face to smell it and I know it's in my hair and shirt now! One other characteristic I noticed about the wood - after it soaked in water for about 30 minutes it turned the water a reddish brown. I don't know if that means it might stain if left out and it got wet - just odd that color would wash out of the wood.
