T-REX I guess

Had these two pieces of prime rib and didn't really know what to doo with them so I tried out your T-Rex style. Burned in the grill pattern then rested in CI DO till dome dropped to 325* and roasted for almost an hour.



Made some french bread and served with green beans and mashed potatos



Thanks to the forum for giving me the confidence to try these things

Congratulations! The final pic shows what looks like the right results. Nice and brown on the outside, little or no gray band, and all pink and juicy on the inside.

But, the next time you're in doubt what to with something like that, I'll be happy to take them of your hands.
