    Hi dublin,
I've got a brined turkey that's going on tomorrow & I'll be giving Mad Max's gravy a first time try. I've never been a big gravy fan but I have a wife & 4 daughters @ home & i've learned to do what I'm told.

    dublin,
This is the way my wife and sisiter-in-law do it at Thanksgiving.[p]First they separate the fat from the juices at the bottom of the roasting pan and pour the juices into a saucepan on the stove top. Then add about a cup of hot water and add a little bit of the fat back into the pot. Simmer over low heat and add a quarter cup of flour, a tablespoon of cornstarch, 2 teaspoons of Gravy Master. Stir constantly over low heat until reduced by about half, then strain into a gravy boat. At this point, they usually become very distraught at the fact that the gravy is thicker than the mashed potatoes and send me to the store to get a couple of jars of Heinz Turkey Gravy. It's gotten to be my favorite.[p]Cheers,
    C~Q
