Simple BBQ Chicken

After seeing some of the photos this morning I am a little embarrassed that all I did was simple BBQ Chicken.
I rarely shellac anything with sauce but sometimes it can be tasty. The wife brought home some bone in skin on air chilled chicken breast and it seemed like a perfect fit. Dusted with a little Tsunami Spin, basted with a little vegetable oil to crisp the skin, and put on the egg at 350 direct. Once it was almost done I started basting it with a mix of 2 sauces I had leftover in the fridge. Truthfully, it was Friday and I just wanted easy and a beer.
This was perfect.
This is about the 3rd shellacking...


Served with some tater salad and sauted Brussels sprouts...

Looks mighty fine to me...simple is good! And the shellacking, well it's extra work with a paint brush but it also means extra flavas at the table.
Po-tader salad! Oh I love that stuff with chicken leftovers. -
