t'was a hearty soup for a snowy day

<p />After a snowy morning this leftover bowl of pulled pork and black beans hit the spot. A few sprinkles of grated sharp cheddar cheese topped off with a dollop of sour cream laced with chopped fresh cilantro leaves kicked it up a notch. I like these kind of leftovers!

Sure looks good. I find that some leftovers taste better than when they were first cooked. Like bunkhouse pork-n-beans, soup, meatloaf, chili, pulled pork. Gives me and my egg a chance to rest a bit. [p]Nice touch with the cheese, sour cream and cilantro.

I think that looks good cept for maybe a coupla thing.[p]1) That short fat tailed sperm shaped bowl has got to go. The way I see it, you may make the best soup yet..but if'n I gotta eat it out of some kinda mutant sperm bowl..well..I think I'd go hungry..cause you gotta think..maybe that there soup is what caused the sperm to get like that in the first place..and next thing you know..you is suspicious as all get out..why even the spoon'll start to scare the majeebers out of yah..some weird magnetic robot sperm prolly..good god man..make it all go away...quick![p]2) Tha napkin..with the flowers and the way it's all folded like that..geesh...I don't know..it may be fine if I could get my thoughts off of the mutant sperm bowl and robot sperm spoon. I try to picture it..but I still can't..I just can't..that right there prolly shows you the power of the mutant sperm shaped objects...good god..is it just me ? [p]3)That dollop of white in the middle there..wel..how to delicately put this..well..it just ain't right..specially considerin its surroundins.[p]4) I see beans..I'm sure of it..and for that I'd be glad..the fuzzy little missus stump may not..but sein as what it's all surrounded by..I don't really think it'd be botherin her cause most likely I'd be sleepin in the other room anyway..on accounta she's prolly be afraid to get too close to me if I was so close to mutant sperm shaped objects for any reasonable period of time..why I'm pretty sure I'd plum be left to mine own devices at least until the doctors appointment she'd surely make for me after seein that.[p]5) Nice mat..clearly there's nuttin wrong with that..unless of course it's spending too much time with the mutant sperm objects..then I spose all bets is off..and number 4 above would definitely apply.[p]Sheesh..I sure hope I can sleep tonight..I done had a long day..and now this...ain't right..ain't righgt at all...[p]Ahh..the life of a Stump[p]StumpBaby

had the flu yesterday and stayed home. made a nice pulled pork stew from a lechon asado pull, some chourico sausage, chicken broth, stewed tomatoes, mango chutney, sliced lemons and oranges, scotch bonnet pepper sauce,and a handful of frozen basil from last years garden.sweetened it up a bit. mostly leftovers from the freezer, hard to beat leftover stew
