Forum Response Alerts

How do you turn on the e-mail alerts feature for topic forum reponses? I thought all you had to do was to check off the "subscribe" box immediately beneath message box. But, I have done so on several posts and have not received an e-mail notification yet. What am I doing wrong?

Jack, If you scroll up to the top of the forum where you see a line of words you can hover over with your mouse. Hover over "MEMBER" and click on "EDIT MY PROFILE" now the six (6) box down should be your email address box. After you place you email address in the box scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on the "UPDATE" button. Now you can back out of your profile page back to the forum.

I have placed an email address in that box and not did anything with the password check mark or box. I get mail from the email address I have given comes in my outlook express software I have loaded on my computer.

I don't know for sure if this will help you but, I do subscribe to posts and I do have outlook express open in my task bar while reading and posting and subscribing to posts in the forum and while reading and posting and subscribing to posts I get email from the BGE forum of updates to posts I have subscribed to in the past and from then on. Even a year from now when some one goes back in time to old posts in the forum if they reply to the old thread I will get an email update from the forum to the email address I have given (I think) in that box on my profile page.

Thanks for trying, Tim. But, I've done all that and still get no e-mail notifications of responses to subscribed posts.......this one included.
