I drove up to Maryland to pick up bburd's medium egg on Sunday. The egg is in pristine condition, and with a little bit of elbow grease, the DFMT will be too.
Here's a picture of our new arrival (in front), posing for a family portrait with my existing Large (back), Mini (left) and Small (right):

Is the small in a medium table?
Looks like a great arrangement. I'm trying to figure out how to justify the chiminea, let alone a 4th egg!?

Congratulations! An eggcellent addition to the family!

The small is in a table I built, using the standard dimensions for a long BGE table (so I could use an official BGE table cover, should I choose to go that route). The opening is a little bigger than normal, since that is my pizza oven, and I wanted more clearance around the egg for safety reasons.BJ (Powhatan, VA)

Man, that's quite the fam :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:
You ain't wastin any time!!! -
Sweet. I'd like to get a medium someday. It's really a great smoker in a classic size of the old mushi kamado's of pre-WWII Japan. You sure do have a happy egg family. :cheer:
Enjoy! -

It'll be nice to know how you find the medium compared to the others. I seem to recall someone on here referring to the medium as the unloved child!
I have a medium and love it, but it has its issues sometimes. -
I'm already planning to build a compact table for the medium.BJ (Powhatan, VA)
