Iphone compatible Tempature monitor

Has anyone come across a remote temp monitor like the maverick that I can monitor on an Iphone? I have seen the igrill, but I am looking for one that monitors the pit and food at the same time.

    Welcome to the forum.

    Monitor only, not that I have seen. However, you can accomplish the monitor and or control the Stoker from any device that has access to a browser such as your Iphone.

    I think you can get an additional probe for the igrill. I don't see why you couldn't use that for a pit probe. You could rig up something to clip it on the grid (might not want to just lay it on there).

    It's just a little pricey IMO. I would go with a Maverick for half the price or less, but that's just my $.02.

    Which came first the chicken or the egg?  I egged the chicken and then I ate his leg.

    The folks at iGrill are currently producing what they call an "ambient" probe that will take the pit temperature. They say it will launch in Q2, but no date yet.

    The igrill is equipped to handle two probes so it should be ready to go, when that probe is launched.
