My brother came over Friday night and him and my wife decided they wanted to do sliders. So I ran off to the store to get the ingredients and a handle of bourbon.

We started off with some venison and pork sausages as an app-e-teaser.

As they were getting happy on the grill, I threw on some corn.

While all this was taking place the wife made up the sliders. Hers had the basic american cheese with the onions on top (left side), my brothers had swiss cheese one with an onion, the other with A1 (middle) and mine had some cracker barrel sharp cheddar and then sprinkled with Dizzy Pig Red Eye Express (far right).

Course a burger isn't a burger without some bacon.

I think it all turned out pretty well. I liked the way the cheddar tasted in the burger, but in the future I will go back to American cheese. Its the only way to get that ooey, gooey melted cheesey goodness that they are supposed to have. I didn't really seem to pick up much of the Red Eye Express rub either, not sure why. The wife applied it so I have no idea how much she used. Not sure if there wasn't enough or just all the other flavors of the burger overwhelmed it.
