I was having a conversation with a friend today about the forum and he asked if I was the youngest person on the forum. I got to thinking about it, and I really have no idea.

I'm 23. Anyone got me beat?

Bonehead I think is younger and is also a dealer. If not younger he's close. Also Beli has to ask his daughter when he wants to use her mini.

Though he doesn't post here too much but GRGSGRNEGG out of Mahtomedi, MN is only 19 and his parents gave him his own large for graduation from high school.

  • Awww, Steven, aren't you sweet for saying that! Good guess on your part.
Happily egging on my original large BGE since 1996... now the owner of 5 eggs. Call me crazy, everyone else does!

I believe that honor might go to my Granddaughter. It's Chef Katelyn now age 11. She did win a mini at OKC 2 years ago, just not active on forum. KS Cheryl

The good side is that you will be able to
enjoy your egg(s) alot longer than most of us!

Steven, it's great to see the youth of today represented here. My oldest son is 23 and while he has cooked with me at our Eggfest, and continues to try and weasel our second egg away from us, he isn't present on this forum and isn't likely to be as online forums are not his thing.

And while there may be younger people who have won eggs and/or egg with their folks, I believe you probably are the youngest person who is active on the forum. I hope you continue to post and participate. In a few years, you're probably going to have a lot of friends who buy eggs based on tasting your food.

    I'm glad you're here! :)

Well I have sold at least one!

I am at the age where just about anyone I know is getting married. The egg has been perfect for showers that my girlfriend and I throw. But, also it's great to hear all of the guys say "I have got to get this on our registry!"

I look forward the many years and hopefully many eggs in my future!

Wow, people are getting married young there! My son lives with his gf but most of their friends are single and don't have bf's or gf's, let alone being close to being married.

I love that you guys are giving showers! My son and his gf like giving dinner parties but I think that's fairly unusual for that age group around here. Since I love to entertain and cook, I'm really happy that at least one of my kids is following in my footsteps. Altho my 21yo phoned me yesterday and told me that he made a meatloaf from ground bison the night before.

You're at a really fun stage of life. Nice to hear you're enjoying it!

You've got me beat by a year. I'm slowly converting other people our age to the joys of egging.
