XL Egg vs Large Egg

Does the extra-large egg exist? I keep holding off on my purchase of a BGE because I'd like to have the largest grill space possible, but spring is coming on fast and the official pics of the BGE's available on this site don't show the XL egg. A vendor in my area laughed when I mentioned the XL. He said it's been rumored for years. Please advise. If you know of a place that sell the XL egg please post.[p]Regards, Eliot

Yes, several folks on the forum now have XLs. (Don't hold your breath waiting for new products to show up on the web page.) Tell your vendor to call BGE in Atlanta to get information about the XL. Or probably better yet, call yourself to get the lowdown. Good luck!

It exists! My dealer here in central Illinois has already received one and sold it to a first time buyer! He has a couple more on order.
