  • Jwirlwind,
Thr smoked salmon and the rest look great. How did you make the salmon? I am planning to make salmon on Friday

Everyday is Saturday and tomorrow is always Sunday.

Indirect. I actually put the salmon on some foil, uncovered and then on the grill rack.I use the foil to keep the fish from sticking to the grill or falling through. I set temp at 325 for 40 minutes using Jack Daniel chips. This piece of salmon was two inches think.
It came out great, moist and very flakey. My wife made a sauce of brown sugar, teriaki, butter, salt, black pepper and little touch of garlic. The sauce was put on the salmon just before eating. [p]Jerry

  • Jwirlwind,
Plate setter legs up and then foil on the grill?

    Retired Railroader ,
You can also set the fish directly on a bed of lemon slices right in the grid. It wont stick and the lemon provides both flavor and moisture. Set up just as you mentioned above.
    Hope this helps.
