Anyone have a tried and true method for Bubba Burgers? I'm thinking sear at 700* for about 3 minutes per side, then reduce the temp to about 400 and finish them to about 165* internal.[p]-smokeydrew

smokeydrew,
I would do it just like you stated, it has worked well for me. I just sear at high temp for 3 min. per side and then close all vents for dwell of about 3-4 min. for medium, 4-5min for medium/ well. I don't mess with a thermometer.
Good luck!

smokeydrew,
I usually do them at 350° until the juice starts to flow through the top side then flip them for about another 2 to 5 minutes.[p] JAO

Bobby-Q,
Do they develop a crust of any sort at that temp?[p]Thanks,

smokeydrew,
They sure do. Do them direct.[p]They were engineered to be cooked on a griddle so they do well at a more moderate temperature.

smokeydrew,[p]I tried Bubba Burgers once. Sure they were better than most frozen meat, but still not as good IMHO as fresh ground quality meat with the right amount of fat. Really could'nt see why folks liked them that much.
