Cooked this little thing in about 45 minutes at 325, took placesetter off and seared. I don't know who suggested this but thanks.[p]It was really tender, I sliced with a knife and put in a crock pot with bbq sauce for the better half.[p]

Car Wash Mike,[p]That looks great! I haven't done a tri-tip before, but plan to soon. Any advice?[p]Steve-B

Steve-B,
Make sure you get a true tri-tip. I cooked at 325 indirect, seared on both sides after indirect and hand sliced. Just plain good.[p]Mike
