Thanks Tom for hooking me up with all the goodies. That's some fast shipping and excellent customer service on his part. Ribs, ABTs and wings for Saturday's KY/UCONN game. "What's your favorite color baby". "BLUE & WHITE". Go CATS!! :woohoo:

Michael I have that and it WORKS....
Tom is the Man....Salado TX & 30A FL: Egg Family: 3 Large and a very well used Mini, added a Mini Max when they came out (I'm good for now). Plus a couple Pit Boss Pellet Smokers. -
Tom's stuff can't be beat. I have his woo rings and stones, but I want to get that setup you have to be able to do more ribs.
Go Big Blue!! :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: -

Large adj rig with extra top extender, slide guide and new oval stone. I really like the oval stone. The entire rack of ribs will be indirect vs the ends getting too done.Large & MiniMax in Lexington, KY

Thanks a lot Michael! You just reminded me that I haven't visited that store in over 6 months....I bet there's something new I need, and now I have spend some money!
-
That looks great. I have been looking at what I should buy, looks like I will go with this.
Let me ask, is the stone just a replacment for the place setter? -
I have all of that but have not seen the oval stone. If you get 2 pizza stones suited to fit a small I bet you can easily cook to pizzas at once.....hmmmmm
-
The oval stones are also great for baking large loaves of bread to long for the BGE pizza stone to handle. No more burnt ends!
-
Post another picture when you have it loaded up so we can see how it works.

Scroll down this post I did from last month. I cooked 15 burgers and 6 rib meat fatties at one time..

Lucky dog or should I say cat  I need to get the oval stone and drip pan. Where is your spider? Up high is where I grill my chickies 400F direct. Tom will make your head spin as far as shipping. Have fun.

Mike what is the top part of the Adj Rig. I have one, but dont seem to have that one piece. It seems to give you another level to cook on.// Capt. Rich

Man that looks great..You can cook some fine vittles with that setup
-
Using this setup I smoked 6 slabs of baby back ribs car wash Mike style. I did rotate every time I spritzed and they were a lot of work but, perfect.
First I sear the thick cut pork chops.
Then I raise them up and put my maverick et-73 to use until 150F in the center of the meat (some pull the chops off sooner). :P

It's called rig extender. I use it for grilling chicken direct. I place the oval grid in top but, be careful with your dome probe you may stab your food or bend your probe. Just be careful. Tim
Check out my pic's I left for buzzmaster. -
Can I assume you are from Tennessee? Where about? Tim

Man that makes me hungry. Those sliced potatoes look good. What's the recipe?
-
It's oval with the straight edges and will replace a platesetter for my rib cooks. I will probably end up getting the 13" round stone to use instead of the platesetter or I guess I could use this one. Haven't given it much thought. Just liked it for ribsLarge & MiniMax in Lexington, KY
