Well the local wholesale club had a sale on chicken this weekend. I was doing some regular shopping and decided that I was about due to have another bonfire and BBQ for my friends. I picked up 24 chicken legs, and 24 chicken thighs, which equates to about 20 pounds of chicken. Did it all on the XL at 400 for a little under an hour and enjoyed the night with friends. On to the cook.

Here are all the legs and thighs after marinading for 4 hours. The legs were done with soy sauce, rice vinager, garlic and brown sugar. The thighs were marinaded in olive oil, lemon juice, zest, garlic and rosemary.

Everything on the XL at 400 degrees, skin side down for 30 minutes. Who says the XL is too big? If they made a bigger BGE I'd be the first in line to buy it.

XL BGE smoking away, took about 50 min to an hour to get her done. The Big Green Shed is now called the BRIG, where I go when the wife puts me on punishment. :)

The bonfire and the jack @sses hanging out.

I neglected to take a picture of the chicken done, but it was good eats. Just FYI, thighs skin got a little burnt due to the olive oil, might want to use less oil next time and more vinegar and sugar.

Happy Spring everyone!
