Bought short ribs at Sams last weekend. Wasn't sure what to do with them until I talked to my brother in CA. His wife is Korean and she was very gracious to share her family recipe. Here is the AMAZING outcome :woohoo:
Started with a 24 hr soak
On the small for 7 minutes each side indirect
Served with Asian green beans
Will be adding this to the cookbook.

Care to share what was in the soak? Looks awesome!! Understand if you don't since it is a family recipe.I raise my kids, cook and golf. When work gets in the way I'm pissed, I'm pissed off 48 weeks a year.Inbetween Iowa and Colorado, not close to anything remotely entertaining outside of football season.

3 lbs short ribs
1 cup water
1 cup soy sauce
1/2 cup brown sugar
4 tbls white vinegar
2 tbls pepper
4 tbls sesame oil
1/4 cup crushed garlic
1 large onion diced.
Soak a minimum 12 hours. -
