    Yo Rick.
When do you put the peanut butter on the chops? :-)[p]Swamp Venom chops? Shweeet. Amazing thing happened yesterday. 4 months after the contest I got an envelope from the American Royal. Sorta like the one I got last week with the survey, but when I opened it there was this cool little certificate, signed by Remus himseff, that sez "Dizzy Pig Swamp Venom 8th place Hot Rub". Didn't even know it wuz comin, so this was a good kinda mail.[p]Piedmont sauce? You got a favert recipe?
    Cheers!

  • Car Wash Mike, I'm having Boneless Country Style Ribs today for lunch.[p]butpic9.jpg[p]Will cook indirect over some hickory at 250° for approximately three hours. I won't be using ALL of the seasonings pictured (these are my fav's), but will probably use a combo of Dizzy Dust and some extra kosher salt and granulated garlic.

Nature Boy,[p]Congrats on your finish, told you that stuff was good.[p]I make an Asian peanut sauce that my wife loves on pork. It has peanut butter, olive oil, lime juice, garlic and a few other things. After I got the new rub the other day I wanted to try it on some pork chops. I did not have all the ingredients for the peanut sauce so my wife gets out the jar of Jif and just lathers it on her pork chop, nasty huh?[p]I've been using Chez's Piedmont sauce here lately.

  • Nature Boy,
i'm sure that after the weekend 'flippage', getting that piece of mail was just what the doctor ordered... congrats!!!frame that baby and hang it on the wall of honor...

Thanks Rick. That peanut sauce sounds good, but I am thinkin chicken here. Will have to try that on pork sometime. Ya know, my wife is not a big pork fan at all. Wonder if the peanut butter slather might work for her?[p]That sauce of Chez's looks good. I hear that feller can cook.
