Finally Understanding Eggers.

I have had my large for almost 10 months. I have used it a fair bit with mostly good results. Cooking was limited due to no lump and missing accesories etc. Now I have lump and it has opened up a whole new series of cooking types. Thanks to the help on this forum cooked a 2.6Lb steak in 4 mins today. It was hot tubbed before. Was great. Did a second steak a bit more conventional but also turned out great. I get plate setter next week and will be in USA next month. I hope to buy accessories , rubs etc and get to the Sunshine State Fest.
Now I can start to feel the potential and possibilities of the BGE, I can understand why the Eggers are so faithful and keen. This Forum is excellent. Keep it up and good Egging to all.

Andy - my husband doesn't get it either. He tries, and he loves the food prepared on the egg, but he just doesn't get it. I keep hoping....in any event - I do get it. Haven't been to an eggfest yet, but sure hope to do so one day! Enjoy your visit to USA!
