Another butt up epilogue
The last guest has left, the dishes are washing and the kitchen is clean. Today’s butt up chicken was a winner. Thanks Steve for the post this morning. I have had my Spanek Vertical Roaster for forever and I never thought to point the arse up. The chicken was muy good, juicy and skin crispy never going back to arse down cook.
Here are some pictures:
Best laid plans:
Tenderloin was cooked for "not your 4AM sliders" appetizer. Unfortunately, someone wanted a taste an one taste lead to another, then nothing left.
Pork Tenderloin 1:1 Dizzy Dust and Slap ya mama"

Aggie Risers.
Ok before I get flamed by the Aggies out there, I am an assimilated Aggie We fought a horrible wind today, I needed to raise the chicken, used what was close at hand...crushed beer cans

Butt up and ready for the table.

Another good reason to drink beer! Bird looks real good!"The pig is an amazing animal. You feed a pig an apple and it makes bacon. Let's see Michael Phelps do that" - Jim Gaffigan

That dosn't look like the vertical roaster is in the neck hole - I can't quite figure out how you've got the chicken on there...I'm intrigued...where is the original post?
