You,my friend,did GOOD!
It looks YUMMEE! -
Noted and added to my list of cooks to copy :woohoo:

Not to downplay parsley as a breath freshener, have you ever had the candy-coated fennel seeds the Indians serve after the meal as a breath freshener? If you haven't, I would be be happy to send you some. Most people don't know they exist. A delightful end to a spicy meal.Judy in San Diego

you could probably handle the heat. I was almost sure it was you who had dropped all the extra peppers in there.
I was reading about vindaloo last night and learned that in some areas of India traditional vindaloo is made very similarly to how I did this dish, but after adding the 3 Tbsp of vindaloo seasoning they also add an equal amount of cayenne. I don't think there is any way I could have eaten this with 3 Tbsp cayenne tossed in the mix. The blend i used had cayenne as the 3rd ingredient listed, and trust me it was plenty hot. -
I've copied your adobo chicken enough times it's about time I give you one in return.
But this is hardly anything I created, just made a few twists and turns on a pretty normal recipe. The bread is really easy and something I suggest for anyone. One of the best things I've ever baked. -
Fidel, mmmmmmmmm Chicken Vindaloo and naan!

Looks absolutely delicious, now I have a craving.
Hope you finger heals soon. :( -
That naan looks incredible

Luckily the finger is in pretty good shape this morning. Looks like all the spice acted as a pretty good surface disinfectant prior to the cut.
I'm one of those ridiculously stoic men that generally refuses to acknowledge any level of pain or the need for medications - but in this case I dumped some rubbing alcohol on it, rubbed a little dirt on it and got right back into the game. -
Thanks. I can't recommend that naan enough. Really easy to make and absolutely delicious.

So...How's your Vindaloo this morning? :pinch:

Rod, very nice, love the crust on the naan. all you need is a glass of lassi!
Garycanuckland -
Terrific. I just heated up a batch for lunch and am sitting down to eat now.
The flavors have mellowed a bit over night so the heat is letting the other ingredients show up today.
Not dragging my ass across the carpet yet - but I fully expect to be by nightfall. -
I've actually made lassi - not a fan, but I can see where it would help cool the heat of the dish.
