Hoss, I found the same thing with the 2 I bought this week. The flat was much better, and sliced, where the other one just shredded with way too much fat. The one to buy is the cut with fat on one side only and not running through the middle. Most of the whole other corned beef was fat and had to be tossed!Happily egging on my original large BGE since 1996... now the owner of 5 eggs. Call me crazy, everyone else does!
