i vacuum sealed some pulled pork last week to be heated on sunday in boiling water. one bag i put some coke in, an idea i read earlier by RRP, another 1 put some chicken broth in, an idea i got from OLD DAVE. the last and best was a mix of the two, low sodium broth mixed 50/50 with coke. 1 table spoon added to the bottom of the bag, add pork then seal. very good and super fresh tasting, wouldnt know it was reheated at all. thanks for your ideas.

fishlessman,
was one better than the other? Taste? Your preference? Curious 'caus I seal & reheat pulled pork often? Thanks! Joe

Smokin Joe,
1 tablespoon of broth/coke mixture was the one i liked best, maybe a little rub mixed with the pork and liquid next time. first time using the sealer, i borrowed it, but will be buying one soon.

fishlessman,
Thanks! I love my sealer - Food Saver--the 820 I think??? I'm guessing once you have one you will find all kind of stuff to seal. It's definately worth the money. Joe
