iron chef battle mushroom

what i cooked,, all on saurday night,, dinner started at 5:15pm and ended about 11. all but the miatake musroom dish were cooked on the ,, it was getting late and very windy and cold and the chef was begining to get glazed.i had intended to do that on the egg.
first course from scratch miso with enoki mushroom ... sake
second course mushroom and tomato salad with blood orange vinegrette... reisling
i had intended to serve this on endive but it jumped out of my shopping cart

i did not think it right that i posted in the iron chef thread as it was my idea and i had all week to think on it
third course was supposed to be served in pastry shells but i forgot them . double smoked bacon and mushrooms ,, red wine
next miatake mushroom bechemel on noodles...champagne

original plan was diced mushroom and tomato
served in[on] a Bellgian endive leaf as finger food ,, but the endive jumped out of my cart somewhere . Vinaigrette grape seed oil blood orange juice and black pepper . -

thanks,, it was a lot of fun,, my grocery store has a great supply of the less common mushrooms , what they don' have the asian market does.. i think i will make a note to have this agian next year,

door is always open ,, there is always scrapple in the fridge.. this post got me to thinking ,, in the old days you could get a side of fried mushrooms with your eggs,, no more,,
